Fiji’s stunning beauty is the backdrop for this tale of three children from a lively Fijian family.
The book opens with a picnic at the natural water slide on the river, and closes with a lovo, the traditional Fijian barbecue. Scenes from ordinary life include school, church, and sports, all set in the context of a warm and beautiful family.
Our young Catholics in Fiji live precisely halfway around the earth from the young West African Catholics in our Togo book. The two books make a nice contrast of the true nature of the universal church!

I bought 2 copies for 2 of my grandkids who are heading to college in Aug. I read most of the book and thought it was great -- just basic god ideas!!!!!!!
BEAUTIFUL
My grandchildren LOVE this book! It's like "Where's Waldo" but in a religious theme that teaches them the life of Our Lord. Very well done!
I like the wide variety of prayers.
Love it !
I love Divine Mercy . Say the chaplet at 3 PM every day and sometimes more often.. Jacqueline Lesniewski. My husband John has the Sacred Heart case and loves it as well.
Very cute and engaging!
I love the beautiful crucifix on the case I bought. It makes a great statement in everyday usage. I've gotten lots of compliments already.

Beautiful and a life saver.
The images are beautiful and capture the events perfectly. The scripture verse references are useful for the bigger kids to look deeper. I have long been perplexed why anyone could be resistant to the True Presence, knowing that throughout the Gospels, what Jesus says, happens. This book brings that to life clearly.
A wonderful coloring book for my grandchildren!
Loved it!
It was a delightfully story
My kids love these! I can't believe how much my kids are connecting with the families profiled in this series of books. They are 7 and 5, and we end up having to flip back to the front page to review the children's names and how old each of them is multiple times. These are perfect read-alouds for us but I can imagine children returning to these as fairly easy reading practice. The photography is gorgeous and the author has a knack for telling the story of families in a way that is relatable to children anywhere but highlights the beautiful uniqueness of each location. In this one, they especially loved the description of the giant shared picnic after Mass was offered in the village.
