We love this series. My husband's family is from Austria, and our children love reading and rereading the special Austrian traditions. It is so beautiful to see how deep the Catholic faith runs all over the world, and it's fun to try new and interesting traditions we read about.
I've bought several Very Young Catholic books to share share with my class of middle schoolers who have not yet been baptized so theyโre going through the OCIA process. This is their second year so theyโll be baptized next Easter. I thought they would really enjoy these and intend to pass them around so theyโll get to know about the Catholic culture in other parts of the world. Iโm very happy with my purchase.

I really like the stories of how a Catholic family in Austria celebrates the Christmas season. Written in a straightforward style, the effect is one of peacefulness, humor, happiness, and joy at experiencing the world and the Church during times of snow and ice.
