Seeing is believing . . . or is it?
This intriguing and fun book investigates 12 mysterious, inexplicable cases that have happened in the history of the Catholic faith, some of which still continue to happen or remain today. These cases consider such questions as:
- Did the sun really dance at Fatima before 70,000 people?
- Did a Host from a Mass actually turn into human flesh?
- Whose face appears on the Shroud of Turin, and how did it get on it?
- What happens with the Holy Fire at the Holy Sepulcher every Holy Saturday evening?
- Why does the bell of Rocamadour sometimes ring for no reason?
- Who was the mysterious carpenter that built a spiral staircase without nails that stands by itself?
- How did the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe get painted on the tilma of Juan Diego?
- How do the bodies of some saints remain intact and never corrupt?
These and many other questions are explored in the 12 investigations into extraordinary cases that invite us to think deeply about mysterious events and our faith in God.

This book is beautiful. I cried, but it is beautifully written and illustrated. Our parish Pro-Life Group recently saw our dream of a pro-life lending library, for our church, come to fruition. This book was purchased for that purpose and wil, hopefully, help those who have lost a child.
This is going to be such a wonderful addition to my kids tree this Christmas season. I love this!
Very nice and meaningful. Pope John died when I was 12 years old but I remember the news announcement of his passing. I purchased 10 cards to give to my friends at church.
A story to fill one with more love for our Holy God. It is such a beautiful little book.
Fantastic resource for kids
Beautifully written and illustrated book!
I highly recommend buying this book for families who have lost a baby through miscarriage. It gives a great explanation on something that is hard to explain to children.
It's a tale of a BEAUTIFUL journey to God - a real solace even after 46 years' loss. ♥️
This case is perfect! I love it.
Perfect book for my 8yr old grandson who is baptized Catholic but not being brought up in a practicing home. It’s a perfect way to introduce him to a young saint.
My granddaughter was born on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe so I’m always looking for things to help her grow in her devotion. She is 8yrs old and the book is perfect for her
Fit perfect and looked great!
Nicer and more detailed than I imagined. Kids of various ages will enjoy learning about this saint as they color the pictures.
The prayers cards so wonderful, thank you so much for your brilliant work! We might be ordering more.... God bless you always!
Our kids love this book. We also appreciated the layout, the pictures, and the variety of what and where the miracles were and all about. Great book for the whole family!
The design is fantastic for curious children with lots of pictures and nice broken up reads to study and ponder these beautiful mysteries. It helps my older children who read share the stories with their younger siblings who cannot read yet, and still keeps the older ones wonderfully engaged.
I bought three copies of this book! 1 for my house, 1 for my grandson for his first Holy Communion and 1 for my Godson. There is just enough mystery in the book to keep the kids interested and curious!
My grandson loves it!
My 9 year old son and I are fascinated by the "cases" in this book.
My 7 year old has a similar book that he loves (filled with unexplained mysteries like Bigfoot, UFOs, etc.), so I thought he would enjoy this one as well. I was not wrong! We read one mystery together before he goes to bed at night, and he usually ends up turning out the lights way later than bedtime because of the great discussions we end up having. I'm surprised at how much I am learning along with him. I'm in my 40s, and have never heard of some of these!
Highly recommend this book! The format is visually appealing, and the snatches of information all over the pages (as opposed to long paragraphs covering fewer pages) makes it easy for kids to read and retain. Knowing that these mysteries are real phenomenon that confirm our faith makes it extra fascinating!
