An exciting story about the first Pope--selected by the Father in Heaven and taught by Jesus--including many times in which Jesus gave Peter powers and favors greater than He gave any other Apostle.
You'll learn about this especially close relationship that Our Lord had with Saint Peter, because His Heavenly Father blessed Peter with a unique role in the Kingdom of Heaven which Jesus established!
Children will learn:
* The expectations of the Messiah as revealed by the prophets--and how Jesus fulfilled them
* What language Jesus spoke--and what that reveals
* The difference between "Disciples" and "Apostles"
* Three miraculous catches of fish--and how they all concerned Peter
* What made many disciples leave Jesus--and why Judas chose to stay
* Jonah and Peter--what Jesus meant by the "Sign of Jonah" and how that fit Peter, too
* Why Jesus gave Peter the "keys to the kingdom" when and where He did
* The "Temple Tax"--why Jesus paid it...and for whom He also paid!
* Similarities between the feeding of the 5,000 and the Last Supper
* What made it clear that Jesus' body was not taken by grave robbers
* And so much more about Peter's role in the Church after the Ascension!
Double length story: Approximately 70 minutes

Entertaining audio CD featuring the life of St. Peter from a Biblical perspective. Customers said their children ages 2-13 "love listening to this story over and over." Praised for making saints' lives engaging and educational. One concern raised about mature content (suicide reference) for young listeners.

My granddaughter now has the complete set. Before the end of the day She had listened to her two newest ones. These stories of the Saint’s are not only entertaining but give a beautiful insight to their lives. Have already ordered the next one to come out in October, Or Lady of Champion. Now our pitch for one to be done on Saint Patrick, would be a nice gift for her March Birthday.
We own quite a few Glory Stories and my children enjoy them all! Like all the others, this one about St. Peter is a great story. However, I wish it didn't mention that Judas killed himself. The concept of suicide is too heavy for little ones.
We are huge fans of Holy Heroes, in general. I recently purchased the Lego Mass set and am purchasing additional kits for Christmas gifts.
I am eager to add all the Glory Stories cds to our family's library. Our children are enthralled by the presentations and have learned much through them.
I am thankful for these resources and enjoy supporting a good Catholic company!

We love Glory Stories so much in our family. From age 2 to 13, all our kids request to listen to these stories.
Thanks!
A beautiful retelling of the gospel and acts from St. Peter’s perspective! My kids love it and want to listen over and over!
My children (ages 6 & 7) enjoy all of the Glory Stories, and learning about the life of St Peter is no exception. We found it very interesting.
My kids love all the Glory Stories, but this one really caught and kept their attention! It gave them insight into the Bible stories they are familiar with, but from a new angle - that of St. Peter. I love how this Glory Story makes Peter more real, down to earth, and so like us. It helps us discover we can follow Jesus just like he did.
Absolutely wonderful! The whole family loves listening to this story over and over.
My boys 6 and 9 loved it!
We love all the Glory Stories and this new one about St. Peter does not disappoint. It is wonderful. These are worth investing in, one at a time or all at once. You and your children will listen again and again. Such great examples and stories to listen to in the car, which is where we listen, or wherever you listen. Keep us the great work, Holy Heroes!
We enjoyed St. Peter so much because it illuminated the life of Christ with every story. Thought provoking and complete.
Entertaining and educational; another great story for our collection. The kids really enjoyed this story.
