Glory Stories CD Vol 10: Saint Rose of Lima & Saint Maximilian Kolbe

I have 4 boys and they love to hear the story of St. Maximilian Kolbe. It is encouraging for us to listen to and to try to follow the example of these saints.

We've been picking up Glory Stories one at a time since we were first introduced by friends. Now our daughter will be getting several more for her First Communion. Thank you so much for these beautiful stories. The saints come alive and my kids ask to listen them over and over whenever we're traveling in the car.

I got these for my great grandchildren, they love listening to the Glory Stories!

I find it kind of funny that Max who was Polish, has a Spanish accent! [Producer's note: Actually, the actor playing Saint Maximilian Kolbe is full-blooded, completely Polish: he's Wawrzyniec Pryczkowski. Nothing Spanish about his accent!]

My children screamed in excitement when they saw the CD. We love the stories.

My children, and their father especially, love St. Maximilian. These stories make the saints more accessible to our children. They can feel like it could be them one day.

Our thanks goes out to you & your beautiful family for all of your products, and especially the Glory Stories series. We homeschool our only daughter who is now entering 10th grade, and we will put these stories on as beautiful breaks throughout her day. Even as a high schooler, she will cuddle with her pet rabbit and listen to these inspiring stories. This CD is a perfect way for my kids and I to grow in knowledge of the Saints lives. The actors are great. The sound effects are very realistic and my kids enjoy listening to it. They stay engaged and we learn many parts of the Saints lives. What a great product!!

I was relieved the package arrived so quickly as we were giving this for a Communion gift.

We have slowly grown our collection of Glory Stories over the past few years. And now, it's my favorite gift to give another Catholic family! A dear friend across the country just gave birth to a boy and named him Maximilian. Of course I knew just what to send her family! This little man's three older sisters can celebrate their baby brother in a new way, knowing all about his patron saint.

My kids loved listening to Blessed Miguel Pro so much we had to get another saint audio CD. I chose St Rose and St Maximilian because this particular CD had a female and male saint so I thought it'd appeal to my daughter and my sons. They loved listening to them both. Once again I was moved to tears listening to their inspirational stories. I appreciate as a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom that the kids are entertained by such inspiring stories. They can emulate St Rose by asking God to help them in their studies (especially when they are so frustrated they could cry!). Her example of offering a sacrifice and having a deep faith and trust in God is helping them desire to be like her. Not to mention the wise advice of St. Max's mom about obedience to parents being an assurance that one is being obedient to God. All great lessons for children! Thanks, Holy Heroes.

My children and I learned so much from this Glory Story volume. After listening to the story of Maximilian Kolbe, the children were touched by his courage and encouraged to continue with their Lenten sacrifices.
