Our family loves this series! Wonderful for independent reading or reading aloud and perfect homeschooling. And this book about Mexico is so perfect for the Advent and Christmas seasons. Highly recommend!
Good elementary level, Catholic nonfiction
I bought this and other Young Catholics in… books for my class of middle school kids who aren’t not yet baptized in the Catholic pig. I think they help young people see there are others like them all over the world. I’m looking forward to using him in the fall with my class.
This series of books is excellent! Great for Charlotte Mason style homeschooling. Tells lots about the country and the Faith, but in a very approachable style. I hope the author continues to write many more of them. Workbooks or a teacher guide with activities would be a great help in order to incorporate this into schooling.
Absolutely LOVE this series. The edition of "Young Catholics in Mexico" is especially well done. I place it in our children's library at church and it gets signed out as soon as it hits the shelves.
