Each set of mysteries (Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious) is introduced by an excerpt from St. Pope John Paul II’s apostolic letter Rosarium Virginis Mariae. Each individual mystery includes a lovely full-color image of the event, a set of ten Scripture verses so that you can pray a Scriptural Rosary of reciting one verse before each Hail Mary, and a set of ten simple reflections.
The book concludes with the Litany of Loreto and the Salve Regina (Hail, Holy Queen). A short description of how to pray the Rosary with the accompanying prayers would have been helpful to include. If you need a lesson, please search online. There are many articles / instruction videos available.
Overall, The Rosary of Saint John Paul II is a beautiful aid to assist in praying the Rosary and making it a priority in your family’s life.

This book is extremely useful, containing meditations and 10-point rosaries. I teach religious ed to 5th & 6th graders preparing for First Eucharist. Every week during the school year, we would work through one rosary mystery. I found the 10-point rosary meditations to be extremely useful and informative, also they kept the kids' interest level up. If you teach religious ed, and are trying to teach the mysteries of the rosary, I highly recommend this book!

This is an excellent book that provides gospel texts describing the background of each Mystery. It also includes the desired Fruit of the Spirit as well as additional lines to add to each Hail Mary which help you to focus on the subject at hand. Very helpful material for anyone interested in saying the Rosary in an appropriate manner.
