For years we struggled with praying the Rosary with our children. They found it boring and hard because they saw it as a lot of the same prayers and not as a meditation. We had to train them to think about the Mysteries of the Rosary as the stories from the Bible. We used this CD on car trips and even praying at night in our home, and by doing so, our children not only pray the Rosary, but they really understand it and the Scripture that goes with it.
The Joyful Mysteries
The first of the 4-volume set of the Mysteries of the Rosary includes an overview of the Rosary, how to pray it, and a Scriptural Rosary, including more than a dozen children. Each mystery is introduced by an explanation of "what happened in the mystery." Then, before each "Hail Mary," a child reads a verse from the Scriptural revelation of the mystery. At the conclusion, hear about the exciting part the Rosary played in the naval battle called "The Miracle of Lepanto." Original orchestral music by Eric Genuis aids the beauty of the meditations.

I got the entire collection for my whole family, fell in love with the beauty and sweetness of the meditation and purchased for my niece for her First Holy Communion. She can listen while in the car, to help her fall asleep, or even teach her younger siblings to pray. The sweet voices of children praying with passion and enthusiasm make it easy to get kids to participate.
We love these rosary CD's! It has made praying the rosary such a beautiful experience. The readings in between each Hail Mary is such a wonderful idea to engage children (& adults) throughout all 5 mysteries!
During Religious Ed class we only say a decade of the rosary at a time. This CD was great for the kids to say the rosary along with and get the concept of the prayer.
Our children love listening to the kids voices describing the mysteries! Helps me meditate on them as well!! So well done!
The Scripture readings throughout the Rosary help to give us a more profound understanding of the mysteries and a better ability to meditate on the mysteries. Lovely.
I love all the different kids' voices for each prayer and scripture selection, and also the background music. I highly recommend this for kids to listen to in the car. A great teaching tool (for adults as well!).
