I teach religion K-6. I ordered this CD to use with all grade levels. My students loved it. I would stop the CD as needed to explain a few things to the younger students. They easily retained the story and were eager to keep listening. The older students loved it too. It is awesome to see kids use their imagination while listening to the CD. I have purchased all of the Glory Stories and I highly recommend them!!
This completes our collection, and I can’t wait to put it in my kids Easter basket. We all adore Glory Stories! I’m pretty sure I get as much if not more from the stories than my kids do. They are wonderful!
Holy Hero’s cd story of St Bernadette is excellent in every way!! It captivates the heart of the child as well as the parents into a story of faith and life that inspires a life of virtue lived in our own homes. WOW - this CD has quickly become our family's favorite of all the Glory Stories (and that is really saying something.) The music is beautiful, the story and narration completely engaging, and the moment when Saint Bernadette finally receives her First Communion, after so much holy suffering and hardship, reduced this mom to tears. I am so grateful that these CDs are available to enrich the faith of my children (and my husband and I always learn something new, as well.) The children literally run to the car, knowing that we have Glory Stories to listen to in there. :-) In short . . . highly, highly recommended.

Wonderful story my children enjoyed listening and learning more about this saint than we already knew!
My seven year old daughter loves the Holy Heroes Glory Stories. This is why I was so excited to see the new Glory Story of Saint Bernadette Soubirous who saw our Blessed Mother in Lourdes, France. While I was familiar with her story and have seen the famous movie about her, The Song of Bernadette, I still learned new things listening to this version. While all the voice actors do a great job on these stories, the voice actress portraying St. Bernadette offers an exceptional performance, capturing her childlike innocence perfectly. This CD is approximately 56 minutes long (which includes some brief previews of other Glory Stories). I heartily recommend the whole series of Glory Stories and this one about St. Bernadette in particular. These CDs are great for listening in the car or at home.
When I pulled this CD out of the mailing envelope, my kids literally cheered. This CD did not disappoint. Thank you for making the saints come to life in a way that young children can appreciate.

Learned some new things about St. Bernadette
Listened in the car while on our way to a local Lourdes dedicated grotto for the feast day. Excellent story that was the right length to give the full story while keeping kids engaged. I learned a lot since I knew about Bernadette and the water, but not the full picture of what happened when Our Lady appeared.
We bought this CD years ago and hit has been used and loved literally to bits! Too scratched to listen to anymore so I was super excited about getting it in digital format! Thank you for this option!
