Do you know this "Catholic Secret" about the Octave of November?
From All Saints Day through Nov 8th every year, a special grace is offered for us to aid the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
What is this grace? On any and each day for the first eight days of November, a plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful to be applied ONLY to the holy souls in purgatory.
There are specific requirements--and special ones on All Souls Day!--but this card explains them all.
PLUS with this card, you can note the names of each dearly departed by the date you will offer an indulgence for them--this will act as a reminder to pray for them on that day!

Beautiful way to encourage family and friends to honor All Souls Day. Love the back where one could list souls. It also encouraged me to visit the family’s cemetery to pray.
My kids loved these! Great idea!
I knew about these indulgences, but it's so nice to have a lovely card to remind you of how indulgences can be obtained, and to list the souls you wish to remember on each of the eight days. Thank you!
The card for Indulgences for the Holy Souls in Purgatory is very useful explaining Plenary Indulgence and the need to pray for the souls in Purgatory to relieve their suffering.
This was a great way for me to pray for the Holy Souls in a more meaningful way. It helped me focus my efforts so my prayers were more efficacious. It is a great feeling to know you used your time wisely with some planning help from Holy Heroes to do something good for your loved ones instead of having regrets.
I haven’t received them yet.
