Little Nellie was not yet four and a half when God took her to Heaven, but she had already made her First Holy Communion!
When the Holy Father, Pope St. Pius X heard the story of Little Nellie he cried: "There! That is the sign for which I was waiting!" He then went on to officially lower the age of 1st Communion.
Little Nellie is called the Little Violet of the Blessed Sacrament. Perfect to teach children love and reverence for Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist!

from 6052 reviewsI had borrowed this book from a friend years ago and wanted to purchase my own copy to use in our homeschool. My son is a new server at a TLM Mass and it is helping him with his movements as well.
I really like the Prayer Cards on Carlo Acutis. I wish I could afford to get them for each of the 250 children in our CCD program. I'm glad to have them for our 2nd graders.
They are beautiful
I love them! I'll be giving them to my 8th grade CCD students.
Great love it
It is compact, complete, and easy to keep by your bed or in a purse or pocket.
Good price , nice size and awesome information in the back.
The narration was so engaging that my kids were captivated from start to finish. It made the story memorable without feeling overwhelming. I especially loved how it highlighted the Knights of the Immaculataโmy children really understood the beautiful distinction between knights who serve a country and knights who serve our Lord. A wonderful balance of being thorough yet approachable. Highly recommend!
I teach 2nd grade catechism canโt wait to give my students his holy card and share his story with them.
Thumbs up!
Beautiful and succinct commentary on the rosary. The best Iโve ever read. Worth every penny and more.
Great quality and greater reminders of the simple steps to holiness.
The cards were beautiful and made with sturdy card stock
There are many different holy pictures on the cards which is a nice variety. They are lovely to look at and are an additional enhancement to the Divine Praises.
I'll be handing out these great cards to teens in my Youth Group. A great set of goals for young people to shoot for.
A story to fill one with more love for our Holy God. It is such a beautiful little book.
My son is making his Frst Communion this year, and it was such a joy to read this book with him! I love how they don't describe Nellie as a perfect angel, never having made a mistake. She was relatable to him, and he already wants to share this book with others! Highly recommended for other aged children as well!
The story of Little Nellie Organ is quite lovely! This edition is beautifully illustrated, and itโs content is very suitable for instruction for those studying to prepare for First Holy Communion. I will be using it with my Catechism class, along with a set of questions for oral comprehension that I have developed.
THis story fits in well to encourage 2nd graders about loving God and the Eucharist.
This sweet book was a gift for my daughter's First Communion. It is inspiring. The love little Nellie had for Holy God makes me want to be holier. My daughter loved the book. And I wish I could hug little Nellie!
Absolutely beautiful children's book. It brings back childhood memories for me.
