The complete kit contains:
- Complete step-by-step instructions for the head of household to celebrate the Catholic Home Blessing (the prayers and actions to accompany the blessing)
- Holy Water Bottle (Holy water NOT included--they don't like liquids in the US mail! Fill it at your parish.)
- Chalk for marking the doorway of your home
- St. Benedict Medal (standing) for a place of honor in your home
- Official St. Benedict Medal Blessing (English and Latin included)--NOTE: the blessing of the Saint Benedict medal includes a unique exorcism prayer first promulgated in 1741 by Pope Benedict XIV) so it may only be done legitimately by a priest or deacon. Simply bring this card and your medal to your parish priest to have him bless it!

Years ago my parish newsletter included prayers for a home blessing. However, I purchased 4 of the Home Blessing Kits so I could pass along the tradition to my children.
Today I got the chalk and St. Benedict medal blessed. The priest liked the fact that I had the blessing card with me. When I got home I did the blessing of the house. Now I have no worries. Everything is in the hands of the Lord. Thanks for assembling the kit.

Great idea! Alot of work for families that are very busy. I bought this for my daughter and 5 of our grandchildren. One for our son and our other granddaughter. Have to get the water blessed , when they are homeschooled, working parents,etc.

I received my blessing kit & I want to know what do I do with St. Benedict medal? I noticed it is sticky on bottom but I couldn’t get it to adhere to any surface.
Each year I bless our house, but now with the home blessing kit, this is easier and better. I am very impressed with the quality of this product and the better process of performing this house blessing. I highly recommend it!

So excited to use this package for a house blessing this epiphany. It makes the whole tradition so easy, kid friendly, and has the steps laid out for my husband to do the call over the doors and say the blessing. Bonus: I also found in the package all sorts of other goodies I didn’t order to use with the kids like a calendar for Dec/Jan, stickers, and tips on bringing the mass readings alive for little kids.
