Just like the gifts brought to Baby Jesus by the Three Kings, Melchior, Balthasar and Caspar, this three-box set is perfect for your "Three Kings" to bring their gifts to Baby Jesus. Our children have been fascinated by these boxes of real gold, frankincense, and myrrh. They have made the story of the birth of Jesus come alive for our children and are a wonderful reminder of why we give gifts at Christmas.

The antique-looking hand-made wooden chests are adorned with brass angels, stars, and hand-stamped brass relief and each box comes complete with brass chains, latches, and hinges. Each of the unique, brass appliqued wooden boxes are hand-made and lined with red satin to add a regal touch to this “Gift of Kings.”

The octagonal box holds an American hand-blown crystal glass ball filled with 23 karat gold flakes that float like snowflakes. The ball is specially made so that the multiple curved surfaces reflect and refract the gold and make is dance and sparkle. The box measures 4 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches.

The round box is covered in hand-made brass angels and is filled with the finest authentic frankincense harvested from boswellia trees in Oman and Yemen. The base and lid are satin lined and the box measures 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches.

The square box is a satin-lined treasure trove with brass chain and latch (the gold box also has a chain and latch) and holds the finest Arabian myrrh selected from the highest grade Arabian myrrh available. Myrrh was the most treasured of the three and was worth seven times its weight in gold. The box measures 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches.

NOTE: You may wish to use frankincense or myrrh as incense. We suggest you do so sparingly. Because of the quality, a little goes a long way. You may wish to put a small piece in a fireplace ember or use a charcoal burner.
