Teach your children how to pray--through this enchanting book!
Our Anna, Therese, Lillian, and Caroline LOVE this book! There is no better story for teaching how to pray to Jesus as your best friend.
Nine year old Clare shows children that following Jesus Christ and striving for true holiness are worth any cost. With spirit and spunk she demonstrates for young readers that living the holy Catholic faith is not only exciting, but better than gooey, warm chocolate chip cookies. In days which every child will recognize, Clare encounters difficulties which she discusses with Jesus, including:
- Her brother copy-catting her
- An argument with her older sister--for no reason!
- Disobeying her mom (when she really didn't want to, but...)
- Trying to pay attention in Mass
- A noisy house in which everyone else is squabbling...
And 15 more typical days, including what a new Holy card made her think of.

Let customers speak for us
from 6052 reviewsI had borrowed this book from a friend years ago and wanted to purchase my own copy to use in our homeschool. My son is a new server at a TLM Mass and it is helping him with his movements as well.
I really like the Prayer Cards on Carlo Acutis. I wish I could afford to get them for each of the 250 children in our CCD program. I'm glad to have them for our 2nd graders.
They are beautiful
I love them! I'll be giving them to my 8th grade CCD students.
Great love it
It is compact, complete, and easy to keep by your bed or in a purse or pocket.
Good price , nice size and awesome information in the back.
The narration was so engaging that my kids were captivated from start to finish. It made the story memorable without feeling overwhelming. I especially loved how it highlighted the Knights of the Immaculata—my children really understood the beautiful distinction between knights who serve a country and knights who serve our Lord. A wonderful balance of being thorough yet approachable. Highly recommend!
I teach 2nd grade catechism can’t wait to give my students his holy card and share his story with them.
Thumbs up!
Beautiful and succinct commentary on the rosary. The best I’ve ever read. Worth every penny and more.
Great quality and greater reminders of the simple steps to holiness.
The cards were beautiful and made with sturdy card stock
There are many different holy pictures on the cards which is a nice variety. They are lovely to look at and are an additional enhancement to the Divine Praises.
I'll be handing out these great cards to teens in my Youth Group. A great set of goals for young people to shoot for.
Great book for middle age kids. Sets the tone for prayer - talking to Jesus.
I really liked this story! And so does my 7 yo. I wasn't at all sure what to expect from the title, and to find a young girl using prayer to deal with her daily struggles was heartening. Sibling issues, temptations, selfish impulses, and also learning/explaining Catholic routines and practices, I am very happy with this purchase. Definitely recommend.
