The Year of St. Francis & the Stations of the Cross

In honor of the 800th anniversary of the saint’s death, Pope Leo XIV has declared the Year of Saint Francis!

To celebrate, special plenary indulgences are available to the faithful now through January 10, 2027, by making a pilgrimage to any Franciscan church or a place of worship dedicated to St. Francis.

A Lenten Idea for the Year of St. Francis:

With Lent right around the corner, we will be adding “The Prayer before the Crucifix” by St. Francis to our Friday Stations of the Cross. Found in both English and Spanish in our Stations of the Cross prayer booklet, this prayer, written by St. Francis, is a beautiful way to end your Stations during the Year of St. Francis!

“Just received my order and I absolutely LOVE the bilingual Stations of the Cross! Illustrations are beautiful and the message at each station is one that is very relatable to the children.”

“We ordered 40 copies to start with, but it was so well-received that we ordered 40 more. Our Director of Hispanic Ministries was delighted with the quality of the booklet. They are great for ALL ages.”

“I wanted something that was simple enough for children in Kindergarten to understand, but not so simple that teenagers wouldn’t also get value out of it. I think this version of Stations of the Cross fits that bill.”
