This is the first Bible that every child in our house has read from cover-to-cover!
We first found this Bible in a used book sale, in black & white, 7 children ago (so you can imagine that covers and pages and chapters are now missing) -- and then we found this updated version that's better than ever and in color!
We've found that our experience is not unique! One reviewer shared, "I purchased this for our Catholic school library, and I cannot keep it in the room! As soon as the children saw it, they wanted it." Another satisfied customer shared, "This Bible has hardly been put down since it arrived. Our 9-year-old son is devouring it, and it makes this momma heart so happy!" This overwhelming response speaks volumes about the power of this Bible to captivate young minds and instill excitement about reading and discovering the Word of God.
Unlike traditional Bibles that often segregate stories, the Picture Bible seamlessly weaves together 233 Bible stories into narratives, creating a continuous and engaging reading experience. Another reviewer expressed, "I can see how this Bible will be engaging and encourage a child to 'read on' more than they might with a traditional Bible or one that keeps stories more segregated." This unique approach fosters a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of Scripture and inspires children to explore further. With Scripture citations for every story -- there simply is no better way to introduce your children to God's plan through the story that He has deemed so important that He inspired it to be written down.
Even Archbishop Fulton Sheen (soon to be beatified!) recommended this Bible, saying, "This Picture Bible for all ages is an excellent introduction to those who do not know the Bible and an excellent review for those who do.
Now updated with interesting new features, including "Did you know?" fact pages, time line, story listing, maps, and more, kids will love the great stories and action pictures of the newly revised Picture Bible. God's Word will come alive for hours of family reading enjoyment. Newly designed with a fresh cover, text, and maps, this Scripture makes an ideal first Bible for young readers. Children can follow the colorful pictures and storyline and engage their imaginations as they discover the story of God's love revealed.

from 6089 reviewsLove these so much! My only regret is that I didn’t buy more.
Love him. What about making an altar girl?
I will ne giving this as a gift to our grandson in November. He is a fan of the Fr. Leopold bricks and items.
My students each enjoyed coloring a page of this book. We have added their artwork to our classroom library.
They are very cute although I think they are quite expensive for the one Lego alter boy. I like them and I ordered 2 but they are pricey
Cards arrived before our trip to Rome.
Beautiful and informative cards. Thanks!
Finally Fr. Leopold has an altar server. Thanks! My grandson loves this brick set.
Loved these cards! Perfect for all ages.
I have one of each of the Altar Boys, because God created us all and they are all absolutely adorable. Thank you for the idea to make these special chilrden.
These cards are perfect for making the next generation of saints!
I’m really impressed with the quality of the product.
My grandson opened the book and read it all as soon as he opened it
They were gifts for my grandchildren and we all loved them! Thank you for providing a quality product for a reasonable price.. I also appreciate the quick delivery.
game is fun and helpful for our program.
Fits right in! When will we have an altar girl??
Great format. I enjoyed reading it myself.I think my grandsons will like it too. The pictures are well done.
The book is more than I expected. It gives a simple story of the Bible. I will read it and set it aside for my four year old great grandson. I plan to read it to him.
Thank you and God bless you 🙏🏻
I have looked over and read a good portion of this Bible and am hoping to use it as "homework" for my CCD class this year. I have taught older kids before and have given them a St. Joseph Bible. This year I will have 3rd and 4th graders in a combined class and thought discussing weekly assigned readings from the picture Bible might be a good way to combine discussion with the two different age levels, and include more participation by parents. Will let you know if this is a success after classes start in the fall.
This was the exact same Bible that I had received one Easter as a elementary school kid and now I get to buy one for my two children going through Faith Formation at our parish!
This is very nice book purchased as a gift for a 9 year-old and should be very appealing to the recipient as well as educational. Stories are abbreviated and include brief summaries. There are explanations throughout that provide information not easily included in the picture stories.
I would recommend this bible to others. I already suggested it to our teachers.
