Most decorated U.S. Chaplain in History

Father Emil Kapaun, a Kansas farm boy, was hardworking and courageous. While an Army chaplain during the Korean War, the popular priest ministered to his "boys," even under fire.

When he was captured and taken to a North Korean prison camp, Kapaun shared his food, cared for the wounded, and led secret prayer services. He died from mistreatment in 1951. In 2013, Father Kapaun was awarded the Medal of Honor.

We love Tiny Saints! Adding Fr. Kapaun made our day as Americans and children of military men.

I actually bought this for myself. I read the story of Father Kapaun and was very inspired by his heroics in staying with the soldiers while they were under fire. I have been praying that he will be declared a saint.

I ordered this to use as a prize at my school. Students were excited to learn another tiny saint would be the prize. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time, especially as it was just before Christmas. It also was just as described. Everything I have ordered has been well packed and well made.
