- Description
Written by Catholic parents for their own children, this book introduces the "facts of life" to pre-teens in a reverent and respectful manner by presenting the biological facts in the context of meditations on the joyful mysteries of the Rosary. Chastity is shown to be the Christian way of living out God's will as it encourages an attitude of reverence for the mysteries of procreation.
Originally published in France, this book has been so popular that it has already been translated and published in six other language editions.
The Joyful Mysteries of Life is a response to the Church's call for good resources for education in sexuality. With its predominantly spiritual and moral emphasis, in a positive, clear and delicate way, this book is designed to assist parents in their task of formation."

from 5965 reviewsThis is going to be such a wonderful addition to my kids tree this Christmas season. I love this!
Very nice and meaningful. Pope John died when I was 12 years old but I remember the news announcement of his passing. I purchased 10 cards to give to my friends at church.
A story to fill one with more love for our Holy God. It is such a beautiful little book.
Fantastic resource for kids
Beautifully written and illustrated book!
I highly recommend buying this book for families who have lost a baby through miscarriage. It gives a great explanation on something that is hard to explain to children.
It's a tale of a BEAUTIFUL journey to God - a real solace even after 46 years' loss. ♥️
This case is perfect! I love it.
Perfect book for my 8yr old grandson who is baptized Catholic but not being brought up in a practicing home. It’s a perfect way to introduce him to a young saint.
My granddaughter was born on the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe so I’m always looking for things to help her grow in her devotion. She is 8yrs old and the book is perfect for her
Fit perfect and looked great!
Nicer and more detailed than I imagined. Kids of various ages will enjoy learning about this saint as they color the pictures.
The prayers cards so wonderful, thank you so much for your brilliant work! We might be ordering more.... God bless you always!
Great case! Beautiful image, useful message for first responders, easily visible, and very protective if you do drop your phone.
Love it! Nice, sturdy and beautiful!
I am using this book with my eldest daughter. I’ve never read God’s Plan for our fertility explained in such a spiritual and loving manner, all within the context of discerning a vocation to either marriage or the religious life. My daughter enjoys it and doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all. I highly recommend this book for Catholic families with preteens or teens. It is truly a God-send.
I love the way this book is written for younger kids. It is very good start to talking to your kids about sex. Thank you!
The chapters are concise and medically validated! I believe all children who have uncertainties about the physical changes will find this book a gift from God.
I looked through it and I think it will be a great starting point to talk about Gods plan for sac with my kids. I can’t wrote a real review until after I see how it goes with my kids.
Very simple and sweet. Each chapter is about 2 pages plus a black and white photo plus review questions at the end of each section. It is not overwhelming and it’s an easy read. My son was very interested in the book and he almost thought the chapters were too short but in my opinion it really just leaves you more time for conversation about the chapter you read together.
The chapters are titled:
1)The cradle of the tiniest babies
2)God prepares a cradle in every woman
3)The baby is born
4)The vacations of women
5)The role of the father
6)The vocations of men
7)Original sin, and why God gave us marriage
8)Love is not so much what you feel as what you do
9)A girl’s virginity
10)A boy’s purity
11)Temptations, falls, forgiveness
12)What is freedom
13)Making a commitment ‘For a boy’ ‘For a girl’
I would recommend it to any parent!
