This is truly a wonderful and important book. It provides real life examples of people who have placed Christ as number one in their lives. This way of living is in stark contrast to the myriad of voices and philosophies we hear from our modern day culture. We all search for meaning in our lives, and if you believe that ultimate truth comes from God, I highly recommend this book.

I loved reading this book! I enjoyed the author's writing style so much. It also contains information that I haven't read elsewhere. There are many biographies of saints but they briefly mention their parents. These parents have shaped the saints' lives profoundly one way or another. I also love the way the book is designed. Each chapter describes a virtue and the author weaves in information on some of our favorite saints' parents and how this virtue or hallmark played a role in their lives. This is a book one can enjoy reading more than once!

I highly recommend this book. I've read it and reread it several times and recommend it to all parents, grandparents, and adults seeking to help the youth in their lives walk the path of holiness. The lessons we garner from the saints are not only applicable to raising children, but also to raising ourselves towards holiness. Read this book and be the saint you were created to be.

This book is so good!! I have gifted it many times in just the short while it’s been released! It reminds you of what is really important in a world that has lost its way! It brings my heart back in time and helps me to live that in my current home! Thank you for this gem! I also will add that I love how you don’t have to read it cover to cover, you can pick a ‘hallmark’ and dive straight in to it! This book lives on my night stand even though I finished it months ago! :)

Once I started reading Parents of the Saints, I knew it was special. I brought it with me everywhere, annotating the margin and highlighting long excerpts. I was deeply moved by the stories. What a beautiful book!
